Laser lab


60m2 laser lab space with full blackout conditions and18m2 L-shaped floating optical table.


Transient Microscopy infrastructure:

    • Nikon Eclipse TI-U Inverted Microscope

        • Piezo positioning stage (MCL Nano)

        • High resolution manual positioning stage (MCL)

        • Focal drift compensator (MCL C-Focus)

    • Fourier lens set-up for back-focal plane imaging.

    • Variable repetition rate ps-pulsed laser diode (Picoquant, 405 nm)

    • Time-correlated single-photon counting board (Picoquant, Picoharp 300)

    • Scanning APD for transient microscopy (MPD, PDM20)

    • SpectraPro HRS300 Imaging spectrograph with motorized entrance slit.

        • EMCCD camera (PI-MAX, Princeton Instruments).

        • coupled APD (MPD, PDM20) for time-resolved fluorescence


Polarization microscopy infrastructure:

        • Stepper motor positioning stage (Standa)

        • High resolution manual positioning stage (MCL)

        • Integrated motorized polarimeter for Stokes imaging (Standa)

  • NKT supercontinuum laser

  • Fourier lens set-up for back-focal plane imaging.

  • Acton 2350 Imaging spectrograph with motorized entrance slit.

      • CCD camera (PIXIS256, Princeton Instruments).

      • Coupled motorized dove prism for image rotation.




Wet lab


40 m2 wet lab facility with extensive anaerobic synthesis infrastructure.

  • 2 Fume Hoods

  • Schlenk Line

  • Glove box with integrated spin coater and centrifuge

  • Plasma cleaner, sonicator, inspection microscopes

  • High-purity nitrogen distribution system

  • Mettler Toledo UV-Vis Spectrophotometer for cuvette and thin film samples (UV5Bio).
