Visualizing Energy Transport in Nanostructured Semiconductors
Our group develops new Transient Microscopy tools to directly observe the flow of energy in a variety of complex semiconductors. We use this new-found knowledge to design new and improved material formalisms to optimise their ability to harvest solar energy.
Inverse Design of Plasmonic Antennas
Plasmonic antennas have the capability of spectrally sorting and directing scattered emission from fluorophores. In this research, we employ inverse desing principles to design multiresonant plasmonic antennas to provide on-chip spectral sorting of molecular fluorescence.
